When they where walking someone scared them and it was cecal Jacob he scared them. He told Scout to leave her costume behind the stage, Jem loved the idea, because he did not like to carry Scout costume. Jem gives Scout some money, so she could spend it on the carnival games and just lives her alone. Cecal and Scout go to a hunted house. The decorations did not surprise scout. She could notice that it was fake, because she was supposedly was touching someones dead body, but she did not believe IT, because they did not look real. Then Mrs. Merriweather told that all the people in the pageant need to go to put on there costumes. While Mrs. Merriweather was talking Scout was falling asleep. She fell asleep.  She did the biggest mistake in her life. When it was her turn to go on stage they where saying the cue she did not show up. They did it tree times and just moved on with play. Then the band woke Scout and what she had on mind is just to go on stage. Scout was embarrassed of what she did. She did not take of her costume, so she could hide. Scout and Jem waited until every body Left. They where walking home outside and it was really dark. When they where walking Scout forgot her clothes, so they went back, but the auditorium was dark the lights were all of. they went back where they were walking and they hear a noise.
