Atticus knows his ways.

During this court trial, Atticus is shooting bullets at the prosecution. They are making Bob Ewell seem like a father that doesn't care about his children. He does that by asking if there were any doctors at the incident when it happened. He asked if Bob Ewell had called a doctor. Because normally a doctor would be called if someone was raped, and beaten up. Well, Bob's laziness was working at his finest. He said it would cost him five dollars to get a doctor for his daughter. Atticus then has him writes his name down. He asked if Bob Ewell can write, and if so his name. Of course He fell for it. It made him looks like Bob Ewell did it because he was left handed. Atticus during this court trial was pretty interesting. He found ways to get into cracks of the case, and make everyone look guilty.

Mayella was also not doing very good in the case. She seemed like she was lying about lying about the case because she said that she was taken advantage of by Tom Robinson. She said she had scars on her neck, and on her waist. She forgot to talk about the black eye, and she makes it seem like Bob Ewell was the one who abused her. Bob Ewell drinks and beats his kids, and Atticus exposed Bob Ewell for it. I think we all know that Bob Ewell had abused Mayella.

  1. This was an accurate summary of testimonies by Bob and Mayella. I agree that everybody knows that it was Bob, not Tom. I liked your Maury Show meme because the Maury Show is hilarious at times to me.

  2. Your blog has a very clearly summary about what happened during the examination of Bob and Mayella. I agree with you that Bob had abused Mayella, Bob blamed that Tom has beaten Mayella instead of him.

  3. Great summary on the testimonies! I like how you explain the things that Atticus was trying to show to the jury like the fact that Bob is a lousy father. I also like at the end you say that you think everyone can agree that Bob had abused Mayella.

  4. This was a nice summary here and I think that you should have added more of your personal opinion and and you thoughts on this. you did a great summary though and explained this thoroughly. if you just added your thoughts on this, this would be better but his is still really good.

  5. Johnny, this was a great post. I liked how you talked about how Atticus destroyed the Ewells and how you can tell that they are all lying. However, I am going to be picky here and say that you said that Mayella did not do very GOOD. grammar aside I liked this post.

  6. I really liked your blog post here. I thought it was well written. I really like how you said Atticus exposed Mayella and Bob too. I can also agree with you on it being Bob. I think that Bob had been drinking a little too much and Mayella was the nearest to him. I think that Bob then threatened her more, so she would go to trial claiming it was Tom Robinson. I really liked your post and your meme.

  7. This post was done well. However, I feel like you could have added more on your opinion with this. But I also liked how you said "Bob Ewell drinks and beats his kids, and Atticus exposed Bob Ewell for it. I think we all know that Bob Ewell had abused Mayella. This could be true and maybe she will tell during the Trial.
