In today’s chapter we learned that Miss Maudie’s house burned down. This was the biggest event so far in our book. This took place because Miss Maudie probably was heating their house by the oven, and it caught on fire. She hadn’t cleaned her chimney in a while, since it hadn’t been winter in decades, and since the top of the chimney was stuffed up, the house burned. Everyone in Maycomb was up because of this. Since Maycomb is a small city they don’t have a fire department, so it’s the men of Maycomb’s job to extinguish the fire. There main job wasn’t to save Miss Maudie’s house necessarily, but to make sure the fire didn’t spread to other houses, since the other houses were also made out of wood.
Scout was so focused on the house burning, she didn’t realize that somehow a blanket was over her. Atticus brought it to her attention that she was wearing a blanket, and she was shocked she had it. It turns out that Boo put the blanket on her. When Scout realized this her stomach started to churn. Immediately she threw the blanket off of herself. The real question were trying to face is that why would Boo do such a thing, or in other words is Boo good or bad?
Why would Boo be bad let’s look at that first. Well since he was a juvenile teenager, and did bad things that’s where it starts, and he has done really bad things. That’s probably why many people think he's a bad person. That’s where all the rumors started of him. Most people are a product of their past, so if someone assumed he was still a bad person they might not necessarily be wrong. All the rumors of people saying he eats squirrels, and that his freakishly huge is a bit ezaggerated, and a bit ignorant on the town's side.

However there is new evidence that Boo has learned from what he has done in the past and is a good person. For the people of Maycomb it would be hard to believe that he is good since all the rumors, but it’s a defiant possibility. Reasons to why he could be good is what has happened to Jem and Scout the last couple times. I will be sharing three main examples. One is that Jem had to get his pants back, but when he went back for them they were already ready for him so he wouldn’t get in trouble. Another example is the stuff in the knothole. He is probably doing this out of the kindness, and that he has took a liking to the two children. The one defiant thing that proves that he has goodness in himself is that he put a blanket over Scout so she wouldn’t get cold. The first to reasons are a bit iffy, but it’s most likely him, but the last reason for sure shows there's some good in him.
My opinion about this is that Boo use to be bad. However know he has become a better person. I think by Jem, Scout, and Dill making fun of him made other people think they were bad kids, but to Boo they were entertaining him so he has started to feel closer to them. I think that’s why Boo has become a better person. My final answer to this is that I think Boo is good, but he still might not be entirely good. I think it’s like he has a good side, and a bad side.
Good job Faraes this was cool how you put in your thoughts while rolling along with the story. To me, honestly, It was like a basket ball play. You explained everything in a exciting, but descriptive way. It was good. I agree with you that Boo probly was a bad person, but now is a good person who cares for Jem and Scout. It was interesting. I liked your meme in the middle as well. Good job
