Boo Helping Others

In this chapter two big things happen, Miss Maudie's house burns down, and Boo comes out. The whole scene started with Atticus waking up a tired Scout around one am. He got her and Jem up and sent them to go wait at the corner by the radley house. From that safe distance they watch in astonishment at what is happening, they are watching Miss Maudie's house burn down. At this time it is also really cold out and Jem and Scout are shivering. Keep in mind they are in front of the Radley house. While they are standing there Boo sees them shivering, and sneaks up behind them and puts a blanket over them, but they are so focused on the fire that they don't notice him do this. Then Atticus comes up and asks them,"didn't I tell you to stay where you are?" They are confused so he tells them they have a blanket on them. They are completely shocked, they never realized they had a blanket on them. When Atticus tells them Boo put the blanket on them Scout gets really scared. (I put this picture because Boo SNUCK up on them with the blanket).Image result for that's not creepy at all meme

I can connect to this because I like helping people, but not creepily of course. I like helping people if they are feeling down I can listen to them and talk with them, I think I get this from my mom who is a counselor. There is is a time that I can remember when I helped my friend. When I was younger I had a neighbor named Lucas. One day we were outside and it was really cold. We went into my house to warm up and since he was really cold I made him hot chocolate.

  1. I like your connection here especially since you shared something that you can relate with Boo Radley. Your summary/description of when Boo snuck up on them was well done especially with your meme added here. Good job on this summary!

  2. I like your blog, I agree with you that helping other people is a good thing to do. I like to help people, but not like the way Boo did to help Jem and Scout. However, the things that Boo did is a good thing, just a little strange and creepy.
