To whom does it belong...

Well we started To Kill a Mockingbird like a week ago, and we are already on the 4th chapter. We got to know the characters. My favorite is Scout, but lately she has been getting into trouble. She is on the wrong foot with Miss Caroline, and she has been Ignorant towards some of her classmates. Scout has also been curious lately.

Boo Radely her creepy neighbor has been watching them, or so we think. Scout claims she sea a flick in the shutters when Jem touched the house. Also some one has been hiding stuff. In the tree near there house. Whom is hiding it we must find out. I personal think Boo is hiding it. He is the sort of person who is probly lonely, and wants to play tricks on people.

He might also be the person who wants others to feel his pain, and so he plays tricks on them. We never know. Like Atticus says, walk in someone else's shoes, and see through their perspective. We don't know whose gum, and money it is.

I find it funny that two cents is alot of money for them. My sister read Little House On a Prarie, and for Christmas, one of the children received a penny, and they were so excited, and they felt rich. Today a penny can buy you buy a cheap ponytail. Back then you could buy a meal, or a toy. Back then kids were receiving a quarter for a present. Today kids are receiving phones, and expensive products for presents.

In conclusion, don't judge people before you get to know them, and don't take everything you get for granted someone put money into that. I think the stuff Scout and Jem found were from Boo, but you may think differently. I am excited to read more tommarow.

  1. I really like your summary, you put great detail in it. I also liked how you tied in TKAM to the book " Little House On a Prairie" and how one child had got a penny. I also liked how you compared what you can get now a days with only a couple cents, but with a quarter, you were able to buy a full meal.

  2. I like how you were talking on how boo could be playing tricks, or could be trying to have others feel his pain, i never thought of that. Also, I like how weaved in how you need to look from the other person's perspective. Finally, I like how you talked about the value of money.
