The End.

In this chapter, we read about Scout putting Jem to sleep and Boo wanting to pet him. as they were watching Jem sleep, Boo did some communications with scout by grabbing her hand which was intending that he wanted to leave. she leads him to the front porch and he tells her in almost a whisper if she could walk him home. When she took him home, she had never seen him again. she begins to get sad since he had been the one giving her the little gifts in the knothole, but they had never gave anything back in return. as she leaves, she goes behind the window where Boo had been watching them the whole time and puts herself in his shoes for a moment. she imagines everything that has happened from the beginning of the book to what recent event had happened in Boo's point of view. she did this because Atticus had always told her to always stand in someone else's shoes and feel how its like to be them, so this seems why Scout had looked back at everything from the Radley porch. when scout goes back home, she goes into Jem's room and sees Atticus reading " the gray ghost". she tells him to read it to her, but falls asleep when he starts the book, Atticus carries her to bed, and she begins telling the story to Atticus as she is half asleep. she says the story was about a kid named "stoner boy" and some other kids who were chasing him to find out what he actually looked like, but found out he was really a nice kid. Atticus tells her that everyone is nice when you actually get to meet them, then scout realizes that Atticus was referring to Boo Radley.
I think that this book would end up kind of sad since I really thought that Boo was a bad guy who eats rats and stabbed his father in the beginning of the book. My first thought on this book was that it would be about an ordinary girl in the 1930s and her life during this time period. Overall, I think this book was pretty interesting, especially in the ending which scout had just made a whole summary of what had happened. I mainly enjoyed the last chapter because we finally got to find out who boo was and saw how the whole book ended.

  1. This was a very good summary of what happened at the end! I like how you went into detail about the book that Atticus read to Scout. I like how you gave your thoughts at then end and how you enjoyed the ending!

  2. You had a great summary about the final chapter here. You put in a lot of detail in the " gray ghost". I liked how you thought that Boo was a bad guy until the last chapter. I thought that he was trying to be a nice person, just didn't know how.
