Francis the goat catcher

In chapter 9 we meet not a tolerant pinnacle of society like Atticus. No, we meet the opposite Francis. Francis is that cousin that we all have. Their annoying, you dislike them, and they ruin you Christmas. Francis isn't tolerant at all. He is rude childish and finds it fun to annoy people. People like francis don't know when to stop trying to get your goat. When they say the wrong thing to the wrong person, like scout, they end up with a lot of missing teeth. We all know that if Francis keeps trying to catch everybody's goat then he he's gonna end up loosing his two front teeth. Francis is very ignorant. He is the complete opposite of atticus in every way. He has an acid tongue which spits out the N word every time that he talks about Atticus. He is a complete coward who will never do anything brave in his life. He could learn a few things from Atticus. If he was less ignorant maybe he would not have taken a beating from scout. The other thing we have addressed about Francis is that he was raised this way. You may think that he was born this way, but people are not born the way they act now. Except for wisconsin's they were born to be evil cheese lovers. Francis was taught by his family to be racist and ignorant, just like atticus is trying to teach his children to be tolerant. He learned to be an annoying jerk. The other thing is that his parents abandon him on the holidays to do their own thing. He was probably mean to scout about Dill moving from house to house because he has to move from house to house living a life of  sadness. It probably makes him feel better to transfer his oppression onto Dill and Scout. He also probably acts annoying to get attention. If he has a dysfunctional family that always doesn't pay attention to him then it probably feels good to. In conclusion it is being ignorant to assume that Francis is being a jerk because he can. Francis's case should push us to assume less and figure things out first.
