WOW... chapter six

In chapter six, a lot and I mean a lot of stuff happens. Before Dill leaves to go back to Mississippi, him, Scout, and Jem all spend one more night together. However it doesn't quit go the way the expected it to end. In the rest of the chapter that we had to read at home, we read about Scout, Dill, and  Jems run in at the Radley's place.
When they finally reach the Radley's house, they decide they will go through the back fence. It is a little after dark so no one can see them, but they have to make sure that they don't make that much noise. They sneak under the fencing in the back yard of the house. From there, Scout and Dill make a saddle, so they can lift Jem up to see into the window. As Jem looks through the window, he sees a light. Then he sees a shadow of a man, wearing a hat. The man then has a riffle in his hand. That id when they all start to run.
They hear a fire of the riffle, and run even faster. As they get to the fencing, Jem has trouble getting through it, so he takes off his pants, and finally gets out. When they get to the front of the Finches's house, they see a big crowd gathered in front of the Radley's house. There, they tell the people that the were by the fishing pound, and were playing with matches, and not cards, because cars are just completely wrong to be playing around with.                                                                                                                                                 That night, at two in the morning, Jem goes to sneak out to get is pants. This is extremely dangerous, because Mr. Radley said the next time he sees anything in his yard, the next shot won't be shot in the air as a warning shot. As Jem is gone, Atticus wakes up, but doesn't come to check on Scout and " Jem", like he usually does. When Jem comes back, he doesn't say a word. He gets in bed, and just lays there silently. As a reader, this tells me that something might have happened when he had gotten his pants. And we, or I am left on a cliffhanger.                                                                                             Image result for tkam meme

  1. This was a good post, Taya! This was a brief summary of what had happened in this chapter and well explained. I think you just should've written a little about your own opinion here. Other than that, you did a really good job on this!

  2. This is a really good post. You explain what all happens in this chapter. It would have been nice for a couple of inputs on the post where you can relate it to your life, or give your opinion. For example, you could have said if you agree with Jem going back to get his pants, or if he should have just told Atticus. Otherwise, I thought this was a really good post. I also really liked your meme. It wraps up your post very well.

  3. Your blog post is a great summary of what happened in
chapter 6. The blog has a lot of details about the story Jem, Scout, and Dill go to the Radley Place. I think you should work more on your opinions about the reading. You did say in the last sentence that you are left on the cliffhanger but I think that is not enough. You should write at least a paragraph about your thought to the reading. Otherwise, your blog post is good. I like your picture though. I think we would never see Boo comes out.
